We don’t just install Deckorators® decking — we do it the right way. As a Deckorators® Certified Pro Contractor, we follow manufacturer guidelines at every step to make sure your deck looks great, performs well, and qualifies for their extended warranties. Here's what you can expect when you work with ThunderStruck Restorations:
1. On-site consultation
We’ll meet with you at your home in Ham Lake, Andover, or nearby to learn what you’re looking for. We’ll go over layout ideas, show you samples from the Voyage™ and Vault™ lines, and help you compare color options, profiles, and accessories like railings or fascia.
2. Custom design and material selection
Once we understand your space and goals, we’ll put together a custom design using Deckorators' framing guidelines and fastener systems. We’ll help you choose the right board style, hidden fasteners, post sleeves, and railing systems — including ALX Classic or ALX Contemporary aluminum railings if you want a sleek, finished look.
3. Permits and prep work
We handle all permitting and code compliance to make sure your project goes smoothly. We’ll prep the site, install footings, and frame everything to match Deckorators’ installation standards — including proper joist spacing for mineral-based composite boards.
4. Professional installation
